Traffic Management Planning & Design (TMP)

Here at Vortex, we aim to be ahead of the crowd. Therefore we are already incorporating the New Zealand Guide to Temporary Traffic Management (NZGTTM) into our planning services. We offer risk based Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and can manage the process from site evaluation and risk assessment through to planning through to implementation.

Our staff come from both civil and traffic management backgrounds, with extensive experience in the TTM industry as contractors, consultants and RCA representatives. We are able to cover all TTM planning needs from supporting projects with TTM expertise through to events to even the smallest works. It doesn’t matter if you are installing a water main down Moorhouse Avenue or a driveway in a new subdivision, we are able to help.

At Vortex, we can handle the entire Corridor Access (CAR) application process with any Road Controlling Authority (RCA) in New Zealand. We are able to support your business through TTM auditing. We are able to offer an independent eye for your works site, using risk based TTM auditing to support learning and understanding of TTM staff. Our goal is to go beyond compliance – we work with clients to pinpoint challenges, offer practical solutions and to help raise awareness of overall safety and performance issues.

We can also support developing TTM Planners by providing TMP auditing services, reviewing TMPs to provide feedback on how they can grow and develop their skills with experienced TMP Planner staff.
